Shipping Container Bars — Built, Fitted, and Delivered by Phil

A container turned into a proper serving bar — fold-up canopy servery, fitted back-bar, fridge space, lighting and power. For mobile event bars, weddings, festivals, pub gardens and hospitality venues. Built to your brief, to buy or to hire.

Quick answer

A shipping container bar is a steel container converted into a serving bar — typically with a fold-up canopy side that lifts to form a covered servery, a fitted counter, back-bar shelving, space for under-counter bottle fridges, lighting and power. CS Containers builds 10ft, 20ft and 40ft units to your brief, available to buy or to hire, and delivers them anywhere in the UK by HIAB. Each build is quoted individually.

What a Typical Bar Build Includes

No two bars are the same — a compact 10ft mobile bar is a different job to a fully fitted 40ft unit. Phil quotes every bar individually, anywhere from a simple servery shell up to a complete fit-out with fridges, three-phase power and a branded exterior.

Phil builds the container and the bar; you supply the equipment and sort the licence. Tell him how you'll use it and he'll spec it to suit. New to this? The container bar guide walks through sizes, licensing and hire-vs-buy.

Structure & Services

  • 10ft, 20ft (most popular) or 40ft to suit your space and volume
  • Fold-up canopy side on gas struts — opens to a covered servery, locks down solid for transport
  • Single or three-phase electrical supply to spec, plus interior and servery lighting
  • Plumbing for a bar sink — water in, waste out (customer connects to mains or tank)

Bar Fit-Out

  • Timber or stainless steel bar counter and back-bar shelving
  • Space built in for under-counter glass-front bottle fridges (customer supplies equipment)
  • Hygienic wall panelling and hard-wearing flooring
  • Exterior paint or full graphics wrap in your colours and branding

Alcohol Licensing — Your Responsibility

Phil builds the container and the bar structure. Serving alcohol needs the right licence — a premises licence for a permanent setup, or a Temporary Event Notice (TEN) for one-off events — and that's the operator's responsibility, arranged with your local authority. Sort the licence early so you're ready to trade the day the bar lands on site.
